Event Sales Manager
Location: Watford, Hertfordshire
Salary: £32,235 + benefits
My client is a hotel and events destination set just outside London. They are now seeking an Event Sales Manager to join the team and drive revenue across a diverse portfolio of events.
This is a fast-paced, client-facing role responsible for managing incoming enquiries, converting business and overseeing the events diary to maximise revenue across meetings, corporate events, weddings and private celebrations.
You will work closely with multiple departments across the venue, ensuring a seamless client journey from enquiry through to event delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and respond to incoming event enquiries, converting opportunities into confirmed bookings
Oversee and manage the events diary to maximise space utilisation and revenue
Sell a range of event spaces for corporate, private and wedding events
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders
Work closely with operations, kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth delivery
Follow pricing guidelines and contribute to revenue optimisation
Manage multiple events simultaneously, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
Maintain CRM systems and event records (Delphi experience advantageous)
About You
Previous experience in event sales within a hotel, venue or hospitality environment
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple enquiries and events
Commercially aware with a focus on conversion and revenue generation
Confident communicator with excellent client-facing skills
Experience working with internal teams across operations and delivery
Knowledge of Delphi or similar systems advantageous
