What to Expect
The Electrical and Automation Engineer is responsible for electrical, automation, and industrial network systems in our production and facilities. You will maintain these systems and support improvement projects.
Systems Responsibilities:
* Electrical: High Voltage (HV) supply, distribution, and transformation network; Low Voltage (LV) systems; support breakdown resolution and support site efficiency targets.
* Automation: PLC systems (primarily Siemens S7 series), HMIs, troubleshooting, modifications, upgrades, backups, and monitoring automation systems including Safety PLCs, SCADA systems, and other PLC manufacturers like B&R.
* Industrial Networking: Troubleshoot machine-level networks (Profinet) and site-wide networks (TCP/IP, TSN); install and maintain systems; guide others on VLAN configuration.
Skills and Experience
* Knowledge of internal standards related to HV and LV electrical, automation, networking, cybersecurity, and machinery safety.
* Experience in FMCG environment, leadership skills, and ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
* Ability to identify non-compliances, assess safety risks, and provide guidance for improvements.
* Experience with water systems, compressors, boilers, and gas systems is advantageous.
Additional Responsibilities
* Provide guidance to project and engineering teams, participate in audits, review project plans.
* Manage water stewardship, water-saving initiatives, and facilities/utilities operations.
