Futures recruitment are looking to appoint a Hydraulics fitter for a well known manufacturing business in South Yorkshire. The successful Hydraulics fitter will assemble and carry out testing for their diverse hydraulics focused product range.
The appointed Hydraulics Fitter will have an engineering qualification, at least two years post qualification work experience, an analytical mind, be confident carrying out assembly activities and have some exposure to test. Responsibilities & Qualifications:
To assemble hydraulics equipment
Follow engineering drawings for multiple different products
Maintain and inspect any test equipment used to ensure it is in calibration and also in full working condition
Assemble prototype / pre-production units for the use of verifying a concept / design
Good working knowledge of electro-mechanical hydraulics equipment
HNC in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a practical engineering role post qualification
Able to read engineering drawings
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Self-motivated with good practical skills/knowledge. Excellent attention to detail
