The Role
You will join a focused team of five, supporting the Head Office and multi-site IT estate that powers our 500+ retail stores. This role is vital in ensuring our retail systems and wider business functions operate correctly and optimally. You will work with a variety of on-premise technologies while helping NEXT progress its journey into Microsoft Azure cloud and hybrid solutions.

* Make an impact by delivering IT and business-driven projects that influence how we evolve the brand.
* Push the boundaries through the estate-wide deployment of our in-house retail software and the design of new infrastructure platforms.
* Invite collaboration while providing third-line support and resolving incidents to keep our global reach seamless.
* Learn to evolve by assisting with future activities to understand and utilise cloud technologies.
* Manage operational activities including proactive system monitoring, capacity management, and disaster recovery.
What You’ll Bring
We are looking for a knowledgeable colleague who communicates with purpose and is ready to build something to be proud of.
Essential Experience
* Proven expertise in supporting multi-site enterprise IT environments and providing third-line support for servers and workstations.
* A track record in developing resilient Windows Server infrastructure, including Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP.
* Strong PowerShell scripting knowledge and experience with scripted automation.
* Experience with Microsoft SCCM for security patching and O/S builds, and SCOM for proactive monitoring.
* Hands-on experience with Microsoft Hyper-V clusters and Windows Failover Clustering.
* Knowledge of managing Android devices using MDM software.
Desirable Skills
* Industry-recognised qualifications such as MCP or MCSE.
* Familiarity with Microsoft Azure cloud technologies and Cisco Meraki networking.
* Experience working within retail IT estates.
* An understanding of Agile methodologies and project management principles.
