Job Opportunity: Staff Nurse on Morfa Ward, Ysbyty Alltwen
An exciting opportunity has arisen for enthusiastic staff nurses to join our dynamic and proactive team on Morfa Ward. The ward is a nurse-led, bedded ward with GP support, admitting patients requiring rehabilitation after acute illness, injury, or surgery. We also admit patients directly from the community when secondary care admission is not necessary.
Main Duties of the Job
Our patients often require complex discharge planning, including long-term assessments. We provide IV therapies to community patients to reduce travel and hospital stays, focusing on patient rehabilitation and safe discharge. Full and part-time hours are available.
Desirable: The ability to speak Welsh; applications from Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome.
