Altrincham Swimming Club in Greater Manchester is looking for a suitably qualified Swimming Coach.
This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of an ambitious and thriving club working across a range of squads as the club moves into an exciting new era. Altrincham Swimming Club has a great squad structure, coaches and plenty of opportunities for growth with the newly refurbished Altrincham Leisure Centre due to reopen soon.

Working within a team of Coaches, you will be working across our swimming pathway from Development squads through to our Competition and Performance Squads. You will be enthusiastic, fun and innovative with high technical standards and a passion for swimming success. You will be an advocate for our goal to be one of the best clubs in the North West whilst ensuring an inclusive and positive environment where all swimmers can thrive. This is an ideal job for an ambitious, developing coach, or a well-developed coach who wishes to integrate into an established club and help drive us forward.
Key Tasks:
* Session leadership and delivery across a small number of squads
* 6 hours per week with potential to increase
* High technical expectations of swimmers to help them to achieve their best
* Display behaviours in line with the Swim England Optimal Coach Development Framework, and the Club's FACES values - Fun and Friendly, Ambitious, Competitive, Encouraging and Supportive
* Attendance at selected galas
* Assist with land training sessions
Qualifications and Experience:
* Swim England Swimming Coach Certificate/ASA Level 2 Coaching Award or SEQ Level 2 Teaching Swimming Qualification or ASA Level 2 Award in Teaching Aquatics
* RLSS Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or National Rescue Award for Swimming Teachers and Coaches (NRASTAC)
* Experience of coaching or swimming within a club/squad environment
* A genuine love of swimming
