Location: Stoke-on-Trent (Cheadle)
Hourly Rate: £14.00 (unqualified) | £15.00 (qualified)
Sleep-in Payments: £50 per sleep-in
Salary Range: £32,000 – £34,500 per year (inclusive of sleep-ins)

We are looking for committed and compassionate Residential Support Workers to join our growing team in Cheadle.
You will work with young people who have learning difficulties and emotional and behavioural needs, providing care and support in a nurturing, therapeutic environment.

Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality, person-centred care in a residential setting.
* Provide emotional, social, and practical support tailored to individual needs.
* Create and implement personalised care plans and structured routines.
* Promote independence, life skills, and positive behaviour.
* Work closely with the team to maintain a safe, homely environment.
* Transport young people to school, appointments, and activities (driving required).
* Keep accurate records in line with safeguarding and regulatory policies.
Requirements
* A genuine passion for supporting children and young people.
* Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
* Resilient, empathetic, and proactive approach to care.
* Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle – Essential.
* Willingness to work towards an NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare (if not already qualified).
* Previous direct experience in residential childcare – Preferred but not essential.
