Eventus Legal are seeking a Serious Injury Solicitor to join a highly regarded Personal Injury & Clinical Negligence team on a permanent, full-time basis in Birmingham, West Midlands.

Role Responsibilities
You will be responsible for managing a caseload of complex catastrophic injury claims while supporting the continued growth and development of the department.
The day-to-day job duties within this role include:
* Managing a caseload of complex serious injury matters involving high-value and life-changing injuries
* Providing expert legal advice with a highly client-focused and empathetic approach
* Conducting litigation, instructing counsel and experts, attending hearings and negotiating settlements
* Managing client expectations and liaising with relevant third parties and medical professionals
* Supporting and mentoring junior team members to aid their professional development
* Assisting with networking, marketing initiatives and wider business development activities
* Collaborating with colleagues across the wider business to deliver a seamless client service
* Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of developments within serious injury litigation
Person Specification
The successful Serious Injury Solicitor will have extensive experience handling complex serious injury matters and will be confident managing high-value multi-track litigation independently.
In addition, you will possess the following experience, skills and attributes:
* Qualified Solicitor or equivalent
* Significant experience within serious injury and catastrophic injury litigation
* Strong technical knowledge of multi-track personal injury matters
* Excellent understanding of the Rehabilitation Code and Serious Injury Guide
* Commercially minded with strong relationship management and business development skills
* Excellent communication and organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively
