* Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with special educational needs
* Assist teachers in planning and delivering engaging, inclusive lessons
* Help students with personal care, mobility, and other daily living activities as needed
* Collaborate with the wider school community, including teachers, therapists, and parents, to ensure a holistic approach to each student's development
* Attend training sessions and work closely with the school's SENCO to stay up-to-date with best practices in SEN education
* Maintain accurate records and documentation related to student progress and support provided
* Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and supported
* Experience working with children with special educational needs, either in a school setting or through volunteering/internships
* A relevant teaching assistant or SEN qualification, or a willingness to work towards one
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
* Patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to supporting the growth and development of all students
* Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to respond to the changing needs of your students
* A clean criminal record check (DBS) or the willingness to obtain one
