* Ongoing temporary position
* Monday to Thursday, 8am to 4:30pm and Friday, 6:30am to 3pm
* 12.71 per hour during probationary period, rising to 12.81 per hour on completion
Our client operates a busy commercial laundry facility, requiring a reliable and detail-oriented operative to handle both sewing and laundry duties.
As a Sewing and Laundry Operative, your duties will include:
* Operating industrial sewing machines to process and repair items
* Sorting through various forms of linen
* Operating laundry machinery including washing machines and irons
* Conducting quality checks on finished and washed items
* Storing and packing linen ready for transport
To be considered as a Sewing and Laundry Operative, you will need:
* Previous experience using industrial sewing machines
* The ability to maintain high levels of accuracy and attention to detail
* A reliable approach to work, both independently and as part of a team
