Our Motor Trade Client is an Independent family-run HGV Commercial Bodyshop based in Ashford and they require an experienced MET Technician / Fitter to join their busy team of bodyshop productives. Benefits: Competitive salary up to £55,000 per annum based on experience and skills 29 days holiday including public holidays £2,000 incentive paid after six months of service Annual pay reviews aligned with performance Substantial overtime and night allowance options (optional) Monday to Thursday working hours from 07:00 to 17:00 Fridays from 07:00 to 15:00, offering a 45.5-hour week Complimentary breakfast cereals, milk, sugar, tea, and coffee to start your day. Typical duties: Diagnosing, repairing and maintaining HGV or Commercial Vehicles in line with our Client’s high standards. Familiarity with the skills, knowledge and techniques required to be successful in the role. To identify additional repair work and liaise with the bodyshop advisor Communicating effectively with other team members Carry out quality controls Requirements: Fully qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent Strong knowledge of HGV systems, and electrical diagnostics. ATA qualification would be beneficial Experience as a MET Technician within an accident repair centre For your hard work as a MET Technician / Fitter for our client you will be paid up to £55,000 with OTE circa of £59,000.
