Focused on flavour through traditional techniques with contemporary twists, and using only the highest quality ingredients, Decimo showcases open fire cooking, two bar areas with exceptional cocktails, wines, tequila and mezcal, two semi-private dining spaces, and floor-to-ceiling windows providing dramatic views across the London skyline.
We are now seeking a dynamic and experienced individual who will capture the very essence of this culinary destination and join our team as a Decimo Waiter.
Your role
Do you have what it takes to be a Waiter in Decimo at The Standard
‘Standard People’ are at the heart of our brand; vivid, dynamic and engaging, and you’ll intrinsically understand the unique microcosm and the context of our venues and city you represent. Strong prior experience as a Waiter is key, in addition you will need…
1. Strong experience as a Waiter, ideally gained in a similar ‘Lifestyle’ boutique hotel, destination, or high-level restaurant
2. Passion for great food, wine, cocktails, design, and service!
3. Confidence and expertise in guest experience, restaurant operations, and the order of service
4. Highly social, motivated and pro-active; acting with professionalism and positivity in all interactions
5. Flair for service and the ability to build genuine relationships with guests
6. Available full-time and fully flexible Tues-Sat, as well as the ability to work late-night (Thurs-Sat)
7. Knowledge of Spanish / Mexican cuisine, open fire cooking, wine, mezcal and tequila is a plus
8. Relevant qualifications such as WSET are a plus
