About Our Opportunity
In line with our vision, we have implemented a modern technology stack based around microservices, and it will be your role as an automation software tester to ensure that our customer-centric solutions meet our exacting expectations.
You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated tests to ensure the quality and functionality of systems implemented at Onebright, as well as embedding a culture of automated testing across the existing testing team.
What We Need From You
Key Requirement: Cypress Automation Expertise
* Extensive hands-on experience with Cypress is essential. You should be highly proficient in designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts using Cypress for web applications.
* Agile & SCRUM: Solid understanding of Agile development methodologies and practical experience working within the SCRUM framework.
* Automation Testing: At least 6 years of proven experience in automation testing, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality automated solutions.
* Experience troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing Cypress test suites for efficiency and stability.
* Familiarity with best practices in Cypress test architecture, including reusable components, custom commands, and integration with CI/CD pipelines.
* JIRA & Confluence: Proficient in using JIRA for ticket management and Confluence for documentation and collaboration.
* Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for effective collaboration within the team and across departments.
Hybrid working is embraced; attend the York office once a month for team meetings. Onebright will cover transport and hotel costs for each monthly visit.
