Turning Point Scotland's Glasgow Alcohol and Drug Crisis Service offers integrated health and social care, providing low-threshold, direct access services for individuals experiencing crises related to alcohol or drug use, including those facing homelessness. Services include a crisis residential unit, 24-hour injecting equipment provision (needle exchange), wound care, harm reduction advice, signposting, and naloxone training and provision.
We seek a confident individual to handle routine faults and repairs promptly, ensuring the safety of residents. Responsibilities include basic electrical repairs (fuses, plug malfunctions, bulb replacements), overseeing external contractors, basic joinery tasks (repairing window and door openings), and routine decoration (applying emulsion and gloss finishes internally).
The role is primarily Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, with some flexibility around start and end times for suitable candidates.
IT skills are essential for all roles.

This position does not involve personal care, cooking, or housekeeping. Service users are not involved in these tasks.
