This role supports the Venue Manager with the day-to-day operations of Crewe Market Hall, ensuring smooth running, programming evening entertainment, and promoting the venue via social media. The candidate will take ownership of the site when working, assume Venue Manager responsibilities in their absence, lead the on-site team, ensure health and safety practices, and enhance customer experience.
The role suits a proactive individual confident with social media, able to work evenings and weekends on a rota basis.
Key Duties
* Assume the manager's responsibilities in their absence
* Support daily operations at Crewe Market Hall
* Lead the team on duty and coordinate with third-party suppliers
* Create schedules and resolve conflicts to ensure proper staffing
* Act as a point of contact for vendors
* Assist with planning and delivering events and entertainment
* Promote and attract customers to the venue
* Develop relationships with street food traders and maintain communication
* Act as a keyholder for opening and closing the venue
* Ensure health, safety, and food hygiene standards are met
About You
Passion for good food, entertainment, and supporting small businesses. Experience managing a team, excellent communication skills, and customer focus are essential. Confidence with social media and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays are required. A background in hospitality or leisure management is preferred.
