Logistics People are recruiting on behalf of The Pallet Network (TPN) for a Liability Claims Administrator to join our team in Swadlincote.
Job Details
* Title: Liability Claims Administrator
* Reporting To: Head of Liability
* Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Hybrid working
* Location: Swadlincote, The Pallet Network (TPN)
GENERAL
To act professionally at all times, undertake tasks in accordance with The Pallet Network Ltd Health and Safety policy, and promote the company's interests. Ensure all procedures are followed by staff and visitors, and maintain effective relationships with network members.
DUTIES
1. Administer Cradle to Grave and Full Value Cover claims.
2. Perform daily insurance procedures, including processing claims from start to finish, QC reports, discrepancy reports, FLTD error reports, FVC entries, payments, salvage, and monitoring claims and inboxes.
3. Correspond with members regarding liability claims, assist in training on claims procedures, and maintain records such as address books and support logs.
4. Handle incoming claims communication via email and phone, update records, and report issues such as missing pallets or serious implications.
5. Coordinate with departments for Full Value Cover data, produce weekly reports, and manage internal discrepancy reports.
AUTHORITIES
* Request members to follow network rules as per the manual.
* Report disputes for mediation according to procedures.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Maintain confidentiality of claim information and records.
* Act professionally and courteously, protecting company interests.
* Apply procedures correctly, inform Directors of adverse situations, and foster good relationships.
* Recommend improvements and liaise fairly with all members.
