Senior Clinical Delivery Lead – Provide clinical leadership across commissioned services within the Integrated Care System (ICS).
Responsibilities
* Provide strategic clinical leadership across commissioned services.
* Maintain a clinical MSK / Pain caseload using advanced clinical expertise.
* Monitor and review key performance indicators with a strong clinical quality focus.
* Lead system‑wide clinical governance matters, including risk, safeguarding and compliance.
* Co‑train, coach and develop Clinical Delivery Leads and Clinical Supervisors.
* Drive continuous improvement, innovation and clinical excellence.
* Support a culture of research, clinical education and competency development.
* Build strong relationships with operational leaders, consultants, GPs and other ICU stakeholders.
About the role
This role blends hands‑on clinical practice with strategic leadership, requiring close collaboration with operational leaders to deliver exceptional care, productivity and patient outcomes in Bedfordshire, Luton and Milton Keynes.
Qualifications
* MSc level qualification (or equivalent).
* Working at consultant‑level practice (or progressing toward consultant practice).
Experience
* Advanced MSK / Pain clinical practice experience.
* Strong background in clinical governance and pathway development.
* Experience influencing service quality, productivity and clinical outcomes.
* Experience in MSK, Pain or Rheumatology service delivery.
* Broad cross‑sector healthcare experience (desirable).
* Non‑Medical Prescribing or PhD (or working toward).
Person Specification
* Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Ability to lead, inspire and develop multidisciplinary clinical teams.
* Proven experience in strategic clinical leadership.
