The Role
We are looking for a Qualified Plumbing & Heating Engineer with strong experience in commercial projects. The role will be varied and hands-on, involving both installation & commissioning and maintenance & servicing.
Installation & Commissioning
* Plant rooms, including pumps, pressurisation units, expansion vessels, and controls
* Commercial boilers (gas, oil, biomass, or electric)
* Large-scale hot water systems, including calorifiers, cylinders, and water heaters
* Cold water storage tanks and boosted water systems
* Pipework installations (steel, copper, plastic, press-fit, welded, screwed)
* Gas distribution pipework (medium and low pressure)
* Heating distribution systems (radiators, fan coils, underfloor heating, air handling units)
* Above-ground drainage systems
* Sanitaryware and commercial washrooms (toilets, sinks, showers, accessible facilities)
Maintenance & Servicing
* Servicing and repairs of commercial boilers and heating systems
* Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on plumbing, heating, and gas systems
* Testing and certification of gas appliances (commercial gas safe)
* Legionella control works (flushing, TMV servicing, temperature checks)
* Water treatment and system flushing (chemical and power flushing)
* Emergency call-outs for leaks, blockages, breakdowns, or heating failures
* Pressure testing and chlorination of pipework systems
* Gas tightness testing and purging (commercial)
* Ensuring compliance with Building Regulations, Gas Safety Regulations, and Water Regulations
* Producing reports, certification, and commissioning documentation

Pay: £27,541.51-£45,797.38 per year
