The Role – What You’ll Be Doing
As a Senior Programme Manager, you’ll oversee the full programme lifecycle—from planning and governance through to benefits realisation. Key responsibilities include:
* Providing clear and values-led leadership to ensure effective programme delivery and an enhanced colleague experience.
* Managing complex, multi-disciplinary strategic programmes from inception to completion.
* Developing and executing delivery plans that align with organisational goals.
* Leading stakeholder engagement and coordination across internal teams, external partners, suppliers and Board-level sponsors.
* Driving effective governance, assurance, reporting and benefits tracking through established frameworks.
* Promoting consistency in change delivery across the organisation through coaching, mentoring and knowledge sharing.
* Providing operational oversight and challenge to project sponsors and delivery teams.
* Overseeing risk identification, mitigation planning and issue resolution.
* Ensuring successful outcomes and seamless transition into business-as-usual operations.
What You’ll Bring

* Extensive experience leading large-scale change programmes within complex, regulated environments.
* A strong background in financial services or a comparable sector.
* Proven ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders, including Executive and Board levels.
* Expertise in managing interdependencies, governance, benefits realisation and reporting.
* A confident and collaborative leadership style with a focus on building capability across teams.
