Job Title: Sales Manager
Salary: £27,000 - £35,000 per year
Location: Aylesbury, HP22 5XX
Working hours: 37.5 per week
Key Duties and Responsibilities
· Handling customer Accounts & Preparing Promotions Proposals.
· Liaise with Senior Management to determine the range of goods to be sold.
· Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
· Regularly Discuss customer needs with Senior Management.
· Chasing leads and following up on opportunities to generate sales.
· Arranging to attend FMCG Trade shows and events.
· Contribute to the development of Sales Strategies and strategic business plan that expands company's customer base and ensure its strong presence in the market.
· Identify emerging markets and market trends while being fully aware of new products and competition status.
· Execute strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand customer base.
· Understand category-specific landscapes and trends.
· Analysing sales statistics, review market analysis to determine customer needs, volume potential and price schedules to formulate policy and develop sales campaigns.
· Need to understand and apply complex contract negotiation and principles and techniques of ethical negotiation and distributive justice.
· Plan negotiation strategies appropriate to a variety of business situations by analyzing and synthesizing relevant data sources.
· Demonstrate critical thinking and creativity. Engage the creative processes in self and others; organised thoughts, analyse, synthesize and critically appraise alternative strategies and choices.
Key Skills & Experience & Qualifications
· 3-5 Years of Experience in dealing with FMCG Exports
· Excellent verbal communication skills.
· Business management skills and leadership skills
· Should be highly self-motivated, professional and collegiate in your approach and fully committed to deliver high quality service.
· should be aware of various negotiation strategies with respect to different culture and knowledge of CSR
· Ability to sell products and services by applying strategies and innovations in approach.
· Ability to accept criticism and work well under pressure
· Able to use software packages competently.
· A degree in business related field is preferred.
