Salary: GBP14.80 per hour plus incentives
Hours: Full-time 7am to 7pm, 3 4 shifts per week including alternate weekends

About the Role:
The care home provides personal, nursing, and dementia care to residents in a purpose built, modern setting designed to feel like home.
As a Senior Care Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
* Delivering high-quality, person-centred care to residents
* Supporting residents with all aspects of daily living while promoting dignity and independence
* Leading and supporting the care team on shift, ensuring all duties are carried out to a high standard
* Completing medication rounds accurately and ensuring high standards in care documentation
* Conducting one-to-ones with team members and assisting with investigations and concerns as directed by management
* Promoting good practice and addressing poor performance constructively
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Relevant qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or Registered Nurse)
* Minimum of 2 years experience as a Care Assistant in a residential or nursing home
* Understanding of Person-Centred Care Planning
* Knowledge of safeguarding procedures
* Must live within 30 minutes of the home
Preferred Experience:
* Experience in a similar senior care role within a nursing home
* Experience supporting individuals with dementia
* NVQ Level 4 in Adult Health and Social Care (or above)
* Familiarity with the National Care Standards Act 2000
* Proven ability to lead and manage a care team effectively
