<div><h3>Community Occupational Therapist</h3><p><b>Salary:</b>£36 per hour</p><p><b>Job type:</b> Day to Day Cover</p><p><b>Location:</b> Hemel Hempstead</p><p>Our client is looking to recruit an enthusiastic Community Occupational Therapist to join a well‑structured and dynamic team. This role is available as a contract with the opportunity to work from home, a fair and manageable caseload, and further training in your portfolio. The initial contract is for 3 to 6 months with potential for extension.</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Assessment of service users and carers with complex needs in relation to home environment</li><li>Providing expert advice, assessments for equipment and home modifications</li><li>Adaptations, moving and handling assessments and reducing or minimising the need for care packages</li><li>An awareness of safeguarding vulnerable people and understanding the importance of dignity & respect when dealing with people</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Previous experience working as an Occupational Therapist in the community</li><li>Manual handling experience</li><li>HCPC Registration</li><li>Enhanced DBS/CRB (which can be obtained for you)</li><li>Eligibility to work in the UK</li><li>Occupational Therapist qualification</li></ul><h3>Benefits</h3><p>Our client offers additional training for both permanent and temporary staff within the authority, a competitive rate of pay, and free onsite parking.
