We are looking for a talented Design Engineer to join our clients technical team responsible for the next generation of market-leading Compact Wheel Loaders. In this role, you will design and develop innovative fluid line solutions for our world-class mobile construction products. This is a 12-month contract position based in Desford, Leicestershire. Pay Rate: £25.90- £28.90 per hour Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:00, with some flexibility on start and finish times Your Responsibilities As a Design Engineer you will be responsible for the design and development of fluid lines installations for hydraulic oil, engine coolant, and air conditioning systems. Your key duties will include: Designing the routing of hose and tube assemblies, selecting appropriate adapters, and defining mounting arrangements. Collaborating with global teams and suppliers to ensure new designs meet quality, velocity, and cost targets for series production. Managing and coordinating design changes throughout the engineering lifecycle, working with sales, product development, supply chain, and manufacturing teams. Communicating design progress to stakeholders and other functional areas through presentations and detailed reports.
