Social Worker Permanent Grade C - £35,412 - £44,075 Golden Hello payment - £1,000 and £5,000 per annum; see below for further details and conditions. Consultation grade - subject to formal evaluation under the Pay Equity Review Working 36.5 hours per week An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Early Intervention Community Team (EICT) based within various locations. Successful candidates will work across busy Multi-Disciplinary Teams to facilitate Social Work practices. You will work as part of the EICT Pathways to deliver person-centred practices, enabling citizens to exercise choice, control, and independence, and to build resilience. The focus will be on prevention and early intervention, supporting, guiding, and signposting individuals, as well as carrying out assessments, using the 3 Conversations model, in line with the Care Act 2014. You will have demonstrable Social Work experience, the ability to work positively as part of a Multi-Disciplinary Team, in partnership with other stakeholders, together with an interest in and skills to work within the specific EICT Pathway. Working within the legislative framework, you will carry out Social Work functions, applying relevant legislation to conduct conversations and provide support and guidance. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential. You will need the ability to work at pace and demonstrate resilience to deliver under pressure and within required timeframes. Recruitment & Retention Payment - £5,000 per annum (paid monthly over a 12-month period, pro rota for part time staff).
