Passenger Assistants Needed - Kent Cars Hire Ltd.
Kent Cars Hire Ltd. is looking for compassionate and patient individuals to become Passenger Assistants, supporting vulnerable and special needs children during their school transportation.

Requirements:
• A caring and patient personality with a genuine interest in working with children.
• Ability to pass a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check.
• Completion of a Kent County Council training course on working with vulnerable and special needs children (company-paid).
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with children and their families.
• Physical ability to assist children with boarding and disembarking, as well as securing wheelchairs and other mobility aids.
Responsibilities:
• Assist children with special needs in getting on and off the vehicle safely.
• Secure wheelchairs, walkers, and other mobility aids during transit.
• Ensure children are properly fastened with seatbelts or harnesses.
• Provide emotional support and comfort to children throughout the journey.
• Maintain a safe and orderly environment within the vehicle.
• Communicate effectively with drivers, school staff, and parents/guardians.
Pay
Expect £25 to £40 per day (£12.50-£20 per shift -morning or/and afternoon), depending on route and number of schools
