The Role
What will you be doing as a Technical Assistant?
* Plan and carry out a schedule of audits and assessments with completion of associated documentation and activities in accordance with the QMS
* Collaborate with our engineering and project teams to achieve outstanding results
* Support a variety of engineering tasks that back projects and programs, working under the guidance of senior engineers, including:
* Writing Test Specifications
* Change Management
* Drawing Updates
* Schematic Updates
* Site Work
* Participate in internal and external meetings, contributing insights to shape the future of the business
* Maintain thorough and organised documentation, following local operating procedures
What we are looking for
* Proven experience working within a quality management system
* A minimum of a Level 3 engineering qualification or completion of an engineering apprenticeship
* Team player mentality and ability to thrive in a collaborative environment
* Proficiency in MS Office
* Fast learner with a flexible and adaptable engineering approach
* Accurate, diligent and methodical work approach in an engineering environment
* Ability to plan and organise own work following higher level direction
* Effective communication at all levels of the business, including suppliers and customers
* Desire to learn from this opportunity to support the business and develop professionally
