The business is scaling fast: 100,000 new consumer members every month Aggressive plans to onboard 100 new retail partners Strong product-market fit with UK retailers Backed by a proven commercial leadership team that invests heavily in its people This is a company where good salespeople are trusted, developed and promoted. The Role This is a 100% new business, full-cycle BDM role focused on winning UK retail partnerships. You’ll own deals end-to-end: Prospecting (your own patch black book) Pitching and proposal building (data-led, consultative) Negotiation and close Supporting onboarding alongside Client Success You’ll be selling a measurable, performance-led proposition to retail brands. Sales motion: Pure hunter role Average deal values ranging from around £60k but scaling up to £400k Consultative, multi-stakeholder sales Strong autonomy in how you run your pipeline, do your outreach etc What They’re Looking For Must-haves 3 years’ closing experience in a B2B environment Proven new business / hunter background Experience selling to UK retailers or card-linked offer market, or related performance marketing industries (non-negotiable) Comfortable prospecting and building pipeline from scratch Strong commercial judgement — you can spot weak and strong opportunities quickly Confident presenting to senior retail stakeholders Not for you if… You don’t enjoy prospecting You rely entirely on inbound leads You struggle to sell value and ROI to retailers You talk a good game but can’t back it up with numbers Progression Realistic, well-defined ramp period Clear path into senior commercial roles for top performers Regular performance reviews and structured development This is a role where high performers are noticed and promoted – progression is expected.
