Role Responsibilities
* Acting as a key contact for clients, delivering timely and commercial VAT planning advice
* Advising on complex issues relating to land, property transactions, and international VAT
* Supporting colleagues across departments with high-level VAT guidance
* Managing VAT planning assignments, HMRC enquiries, and technical project work
* Supervising and mentoring junior team members, including training and reviewing work
* Participating in and contributing to challenging advisory projects that promote your technical development
* Supporting clients in specialist sectors including education and not-for-profit

Candidate Requirements
* Strong background in VAT advisory work, particularly in land/property and international VAT
* Experience managing VAT planning, enquiries, and client relationships
* Indirect tax or VAT specialist experience within practice or industry
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* CTA qualified or working towards qualification (desirable, not essential)
* A flexible, solution-focused approach with a genuine interest in developing others
