An exciting job role has recently become available at Slough Community. They are looking for a new member for their Learning Disabilities Team.
What will your responsibilities be?
In the role of Assessment and Support Planning, you will conduct comprehensive assessments of adults with learning disabilities, collaborating with clients, families, and other professionals to develop personalized support plans. Advocacy and Liaison involve advocating for clients’ rights and needs, liaising with external agencies, health services, and community resources to ensure holistic care. Additionally, Crisis Intervention and Safeguarding require you to respond promptly to crises, safeguarding vulnerable adults by assessing risks and implementing appropriate interventions.

Qualifications and Experiences:
To be eligible for this role, you must have Social Work England registration and be eligible to work in the UK. Additionally, you need to hold a full UK driving licence and possess post-qualified experience. A degree or equivalent qualification in Social Work is also required.
