Aspiring Psychologist - Mental Health Support
A warm and welcoming school in Slough is searching for an Aspiring Psychologist to work with their students in the classroom starting as soon as possible.
Overview
This role is for someone who wants to gain hands-on experience before or during psychology studies, with a focus on supporting students who may struggle with mental health in the classroom.
Responsibilities
* Support students who struggle with mental health, including issues such as depression, anxiety and learning difficulties.
* Facilitate a safe and engaging environment to help students thrive at school.
* Assist the class teacher with managing the classroom, preparing for lessons, tidying after lessons, and supporting reading and phonics.
Qualifications and qualities
* Passionate about making a difference for children who have a hard time at school.
* Confident, resilient, and able to adapt to the needs of different children.

* Pay: 85–100 per day
