What You Will Do
As a Systems Engineer at Johnson Controls, your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional engineering services to our customers across various aspects of system maintenance, installations, and service delivery. You will ensure that all work meets or exceeds our customers’ expectations and that Johnson Controls is seen as a trusted partner in delivering world-class engineering solutions.
You will take full ownership of all engineering service activities, including system installations, planned and preventative maintenance, and responding to technical call-outs. Ensuring smooth coordination between internal teams and customers, maintaining excellent communication, and keeping accurate paperwork and billing records are crucial parts of your role.
As a member of the Services and Maintenance Team, your ability to work proactively, independently, and collaboratively is essential. You will support the team by responding to technical faults, working closely with customers to maintain, optimize, and enhance their systems. Participation in the on-call rota for 24/7 support is also required.
How You Will Do It
* Collaborate with customers, project management, and internal stakeholders to develop and deliver system requirements and solutions.
* Manage system installations, maintenance, and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure.
* Ensure solutions and services meet or exceed customer expectations.
* Assist in commissioning new installations and secure customer sign-off.
* Conduct site surveys, prepare technical reports, and contribute to project costings and designs.
* Complete all documentation to meet timelines and standards.
* Adhere to Johnson Controls’ procedures and Health & Safety policies.
What We’re Looking For
* Experience with integrated enterprise-level systems such as CCTV, Intruder Alarm Systems, Perimeter Detection, Access Control, Video Intercom Systems.
* Hands-on experience with technologies like Genetec, Gallagher, Milestone, FLIR Latitude, ProWatch, and Commend.
* Experience with high-end CCTV cameras (Bosch, Axis, Thermal imaging).
* Experience with Grade 3 Intruder Alarm installations (Galaxy, Texecom).
* Familiarity with Fibre Optic systems (desirable).
* Excellent communication skills, customer-focused, self-driven, and professional.

* Willing to travel nationwide, mainly across London and the Southeast.
* Motivated, reliable, capable of autonomous and team work.
* Ability to achieve and maintain government-level SC clearance.
