Are you an experienced, newly qualified or soon to be qualified Nursing Associate? If so, we want to hear from you! We currently have an exciting opportunity for Nursing Associates to join our established community nursing teams in Derby City. This role provides care for housebound patients in Derby City/Derbyshire borders.
Full‑time, part‑time or various hours are considered across core nursing teams based at Village Medical Centre and Coleman Health Centre.
Responsibilities
* Provide community‑based, individualised care, promoting independence and self‑care.
* Manage long‑term conditions and administer medication.
* Complete nursing assessments, follow care plans and treatment regimes.
* Work within a multi‑professional team, thinking on the spot and communicating effectively with staff and patients.
* Undertake unsupervised visits and work alone when required.
* Use a car to complete patient visits in community and clinical settings.
* Reflect the behaviour and values set out in the DCHS Way.
Qualifications & Attributes
* Experience as a Nursing Associate, or newly/soon qualified.
* Passionate and enthusiastic about patient care.
* Empathetic and able to develop quality conversations with patients.
* A strong commitment to continuous improvement and creating a patient‑focused culture.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Access to a car for community visits.
Successful candidates may have the opportunity to apply for the Nursing Apprenticeship programme following successful completion of the probationary period and consolidation of the role.
