Client Manager – Small Accountancy Practice (UK) Part Time
We are a growing, friendly accountancy practice seeking a personable, assertive, and proactive Client Manager to join our team. This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who enjoys building strong client relationships while delivering high‑quality compliance and advisory services.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage a portfolio of SME clients across a range of sectors
* Oversee and prepare VAT returns, payroll, statutory accounts, and management accounts
* Handle CIS returns and ensure compliance with HMRC requirements
* Act as the main point of contact for clients, offering practical, timely advice
* Review work prepared by junior staff and support their development
* Identify opportunities to improve processes and add value to clients
About You:
* ACA/ACCA qualified (or qualified by experience)
* Strong working knowledge of UK VAT, Payroll, Accounts, Management Accounts, and CIS
* Confident communicator with a personable, client‑focused approach
* Assertive and proactive, with the ability to manage deadlines and priorities
* Comfortable working in a hands‑on, fast‑paced small practice environment
