Teaching Assistant - ASC / Complex SEN
Are you looking for a rewarding role where you can make a real difference every day?
We are working with a well-established specialist SEN school in Broadstairs, supporting pupils aged 4-19 with needs including Autism, communication difficulties, and moderate to severe learning needs. The school offers a nurturing, structured environment where every pupil's learning journey is tailored to them.
đź’ˇ The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you'll support pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis, helping to deliver personalised learning and build strong, trusting relationships. You'll work closely with teachers and wider staff to support both educational progress and emotional development, while encouraging independence, confidence, and life skills.
🌱 Why SEN?
Working in a SEN school offers a completely different experience to mainstream settings. You'll benefit from smaller class sizes, higher staff-to-student ratios, and a more personalised approach to learning. There's less focus on pressure and more focus on meaningful progress, where every achievement-big or small-is valued. It's an incredibly rewarding environment where you can see the impact you're making every day.
