We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Duty Manager to join our team at a welcoming country house hotel in the heart of rural Argyll & Bute. This is a permanent, live-in role, offering the chance to live and work in one of Scotland's most stunning regions.
The Role
As Duty Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day running of front of house operations. You'll be responsible for guest relations, supporting service standards, and ensuring smooth coordination across departments. This is a hands-on role that requires flexibility and leadership.
Key responsibilities include:
* Supervising front of house staff and daily operations
* Providing excellent guest care and resolving issues professionally
* Assisting with check-ins, reservations, and enquiries
* Supporting bar, restaurant, and event service as needed
* Leading by example to motivate and support the team
About You
* Previous hospitality or customer service experience is strongly recommended
* Confident in managing people and situations in a professional manner
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Flexible and proactive with a positive approach
* Able to live and work in a rural location
