Key Responsibilities:
* Design and manufacture prototype parts, one-off pieces, and small batches to high precision standards.
* Modify existing parts (e.g., engine components) using various tools and techniques.
* Collaborate closely with internal customers and team members to ensure project success.
* Adapt quickly to new tasks, challenges, and timelines while maintaining high-quality results.
Skills and Experience:
* Nationally recognised qualification in a relevant engineering discipline (e.g., Engineering Apprenticeship, BTEC National Certificate).
* Extensive experience with manual machining techniques, including operating lathes, mills, borers, and drilling machines.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
