Job Summary
Our client is seeking Senior, Mid-Level and Junior Analysts with expertise in ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) and sustainability to join their Sustainability Strategy team. This is a fixed-term contract for 6 months, with the possibility of transitioning into a permanent role based on performance and business needs. The ideal candidate will have a background in policy or strategy, with experience in the private sector, particularly within the financial services or energy sectors.

Senior Analyst - 7+ years
Mid-Level Analyst - 3-6 years
Junior Analyst - 1-3 years
Key Responsibilities
Support Priority Workstreams: Assist in the delivery of key initiatives and projects within the Sustainability Strategy team's remit, focusing on ESG and sustainability objectives.
Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough research and analysis on relevant ESG and sustainability topics, including policy developments, industry trends, and best practices.
Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with internal and external stakeholders to gather insights, solicit feedback, and foster collaboration on sustainability initiatives.
Data Management: Oversee the collection, analysis, and interpretation of ESG-related data, ensuring accuracy and integrity in reporting.
Strategy Development: Contribute to the development and refinement of the firm's sustainability strategy, aligning it with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Reporting and Documentation: Prepare reports, presentations, and other documentation to communicate sustainability progress, achievements, and recommendations to relevant stakeholders.
Project Management: Manage project timelines, milestones, and deliverables to ensure timely completion of assigned tasks and projects.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., environmental studies, business, policy, sustainability).
Years of experience inline as mentioned above.
Strong understanding of ESG principles, frameworks, and reporting standards.
Previous experience in the financial services or energy sectors is highly desirable.
Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and draw actionable insights.
Proven track record of stakeholder engagement and relationship management.
Proficiency in project management tools and software.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
