Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in various settings. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical codes and safety standards, as well as the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Duties
* Install and maintain electrical wiring, fixtures, and control equipment.
* Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform repairs as necessary.
* Use hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks.
* Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and specifications.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant electrical codes and safety regulations.
* Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently.
* Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Experience
* Proven experience as an Electrician or in a similar role is essential.
* Familiarity with hand tools and power tools commonly used in electrical work.
* Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, and safety protocols.
* Ability to work at heights or in confined spaces when required.

Requirements:
Proven experience as a qualified electrician in the UK.
Relevant qualifications:
18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations (BS 7671)
City & Guilds 2365 (or equivalent)
NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
ECS Card (Electrotechnical Certification Scheme)
Experience with PAT testing and inspection & testing of electrical installations.
Strong knowledge of health and safety standards (CSCS card desirable).
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
