Teaching Assistant – Newham Full-time/Temporary £105 - £125 per day Are you a passionate teaching assistant looking to make a real difference in Education? We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic teaching assistant to join a supportive and inclusive secondary school in Newham Key Responsibilities: As the new teaching assistant, you will be required (but not limited) to: Supporting pupils, to ensure they are engaged in learning activities Promoting the inclusion and acceptance of all students within the classroom Act as a role model, setting high expectations of conduct and promoting positive pupil behaviour Creating a safe and inclusive learning environment Deal with any immediate problems or emergencies according to the school’s policies and procedures about health & safety, welfare and wellbeing and safeguarding Provide additional support to the teachers in the classrooms Establish positive relationships with the pupils in lessons being covered What We're Looking For: An experienced teaching assistant with prior experience supporting secondary school students Strong communication and interpersonal skills Patience, empathy, and adaptability The School: Located in Newham, with great public transport links Offering an inclusive and supportive community that enriches the educational experience.
