Fourblue have teamed up with a ICP who deliver turnkey utility infrastructure across the UK. They specialise in high-voltage electrical connections up to 132kV, serving sectors such as residential, commercial, renewables, and EV. They are now seeking a Head of Technical to join their growing team.
This is an opportunity for someone with deep technical expertise and strong leadership skills to manage a team of designers, oversee the delivery of complex 11kV to 132kV projects, and play a key strategic role in driving the business forward.
Responsibilities of the Head of Technical:
1. Leading the design and technical function of the business, overseeing the full lifecycle of electrical infrastructure projects from concept to energisation
2. Managing and mentoring a team of designers working across 11kV, 33kV, and 132kV connections, ensuring technical accuracy, compliance, and efficiency
3. Taking full responsibility for design assurance and sign-off, ensuring all work meets DNO/IDNO and regulatory requirements
4. Acting as the senior technical authority across all projects, supporting both internal and external stakeholders with expert guidance and design leadership
