Job Summary
* Provide consultant and Approved Clinician responsibility for all patients on Willow Ward.
* Conduct prompt comprehensive assessment of admissions, diagnosis and treatment.
* Regularly review patient progress and administer the Mental Health Act in relation to detained patients.
* Prepare tribunal reports and attend tribunals.
* Delegate, organise and supervise junior medical staff.
Responsibilities
o Deliver high quality, efficient and effective psychiatric care.
o Shape and develop the service in collaboration with team.
o Advance evidence‑based innovative practices.
Qualifications
o MBBS or equivalent medical qualification.
o Fully registered with GMC with licence.
o Approved Clinician status.
Skills
o Excellent knowledge of speciality.
o Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
o Ability to meet duties under MHA and MCA.
o Ability to work in and lead a team.
o Participated in research and service provision.
