Role Overview
We have a superb opportunity for an Occupational Health Advisor to work hybrid – four clinic days and one remote day – for an industry‑leading healthcare company, PAM Group. PAM Group provides occupational health services to a number of well‑known companies, brands and local authorities across the UK.
Role Requirements
* Hold a valid NMC PIN number – no restrictions
* Degree or diploma in occupational health
* Valid driving licence
* Experience in providing occupational health within a similar sector
About the Role
* Minimum of 6 months UK‑based work experience
* Full time – Monday to Friday (5 days), 08:30‑16:30 hours (40 hours)
* Good experience of a full OH remit, including health surveillance, health promotion and wellbeing engagement
* Mixed clinics – medicals and referrals; new‑starter employments screens, SC medicals, health surveillance and telephone assessments
* Work alongside OHTs and admin team for one client, supported by a Clinical Lead
* Contribute to safe working practices across the OH delivery team
* Conduct health assessments, report outcomes in line with PAM OH standards, policies, procedures and NMC guidelines
* Manage health records, ensuring safe storage, security and confidentiality in compliance with legislation and good practice
* Produce management reports as required
* Undertake or sign off health surveillance where applicable (e.g. audiometry, spirometry, skin health assessments)
* Conduct HAVS Tier 3 assessments
* Promote fitness for work, both preventative and rehabilitative, raising the profile of OH among all levels of staff and management
* Accept some travelling as part of the role, although PAM will minimise this
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver a high‑quality occupational health nursing service to client employees and managers
* Conduct case management, health surveillance, health promotion and clinical requirements for the business
* Support the Clinical Lead and wellbeing initiatives collaboratively with the client
* Ensure compliance with UK legislation, NMC guidelines and relevant employment law in an occupational health context
* Use Microsoft packages and OH software confidently
* Participate in safety critical medicals and health screenings (audiometry, spirometry, etc.)
