Purchasing Coordinator
Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 (depending on experience)

About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a Purchasing / Supply Chain Coordinator on behalf of a fast-paced and growing organisation operating within a specialist engineering environment. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic and agile business where communication, efficiency, and teamwork are key to success.
This is a varied and hands-on role, supporting procurement and supply chain operations. You will play a key part in ensuring materials and components are sourced, tracked, and delivered on time to meet tight customer deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
1. Send enquiries to suppliers for required goods and materials
2. Gather and collate accurate information to support procurement activities
3. Raise and issue purchase orders via the ERP system (Tricorn)
4. Liaise with internal teams and manufacturing sites to track delivery updates
5. Communicate with suppliers to monitor progress and ensure deadlines are met
6. Update internal progress boards for daily meetings
7. Support contract review processes and create progress tracking sheets
8. Provide general support across the team, including holiday cover where required
About You
Essential Requirements:
9. Previous experience within a purchasing, supply chain, or coordination role
10. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
11. Confident communicator, both verbally and via email
12. Proactive approach to chasing information and resolving delays
13. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
