Export Documentation Administrator – Ocean
Salary: £28,000–£30,000 per annum (DOE)
Location: Basildon, Essex
Hours: Monday–Friday, 09:00–17:30
Contract: Permanent, Full-time
Noble Recruiting are seeking a confident and experienced Ocean Export Documentation Administrator to join a reputable and well-established employer in Basildon. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a friendly, supportive, and highly professional team.
Due to the nature of the role, applicants must be UK residents based within the local area. We are unable to offer visa sponsorship for overseas candidates.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare, process, and check export documentation to ensure compliance with customer, partner, and shipping line requirements.
* Liaise with shipping companies, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and other stakeholders to ensure efficient export processes.
* Maintain clear communication with colleagues, clients, and partners to keep all parties updated on shipment status.
* Keep accurate and detailed records of all transactions.
* Ensure pre-advice is sent to overseas partners within required timeframes.
* Provide support to colleagues during absences or holidays.
Skills & Experience Required:
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in ocean export freight.
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to organise, multi-task, and manage time effectively.
* Confident and professional manner, both verbally and in writing.
* Full UK driving licence and own transport desirable.
* Must have the right to work in the UK.
