Job Description: Private Client Solicitor / Legal Executive Salary: Up to £62K DOE Job role: full-time or reduced hours – Hybrid The Opportunity: We are seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join a respected firm with a strong reputation for delivering trusted and personal legal services. This is an excellent opportunity to manage a varied caseload of private client work, with a particular focus on wills, probate, estate administration, trusts, tax planning, and powers of attorney. The successful candidate will provide the highest standards of client care, develop long-lasting client relationships, and contribute to the continued success of the department, all while working within a supportive and collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities: Managing a wide range of private client matters, including will drafting, inheritance tax planning, trust creation and administration, powers of attorney, Court of Protection applications, and probate and estate administration, in line with firm procedures and quality standards. Progressing client matters efficiently and accurately, ensuring clients are kept fully informed on progress and costs. Meeting agreed targets relating to billing, time recording, aged debt management, and other performance indicators.
