Full-time hours - Monday to Friday, 06:00-15:30 (1-hour unpaid break, 42.5 hours per week)
About Our Client
Centric Talent is recruiting a Warehouse Team Leader for our client in Waltham Abbey. Our client is a leading UK supplier of bathroom, kitchen, and plumbing products, serving retailers across the UK.
Job Overview
Ensure all warehouse operations are performed on time and within budget, including receipt, storage, dispatch of goods, stock management, and health & safety compliance, following RLD guidelines.
Structure
This role reports to the Warehouse Manager and collaborates closely with other shift Team Leaders.

Key Activities and Responsibilities
* Manage a team of warehouse operatives in a fast-paced environment
* Lead picking, packing, goods in, and dispatch operations, including staff training
* Manage the flow of goods in line with business and customer demands
* Plan resources for cost-effective productivity
* Develop and monitor KPIs to exceed targets
* Manage absence, sickness, punctuality, and holidays, and participate in disciplinary processes if necessary
* Implement continuous improvements to processes
* Enhance customer service through accuracy and quality
* Conduct regular stock counts and physical inventories accurately
* Handle ad-hoc projects like stock relocation and warehouse space development
Experience and Education
* At least 5 years’ experience in a high-service warehouse environment
* Leadership and development of warehouse staff
* Proven success in improving warehouse systems and processes
* Customer-focused and innovative
* Experience handling high order volumes under pressure
* Forklift license is desirable
* Proficiency in Excel, Word, and WMS systems
* Good knowledge of health and safety legislation
Shift Pattern
* Monday to Friday, 06:00-15:30 (including 1-hour unpaid break)
* Holiday entitlement: 23 days, increasing to 25 after 3 years
