Graduate Teaching Assistant ( Secondary)
* Location: South Shields
* Salary: £75 - £100 per day
* Contract: Full Time/Part Time
* Start: September term of 2024
GSL Education is seeking Graduate Teaching Assistants to support secondary schools in South Shields .
Job Summary: Graduate Teaching Assistants in secondary settings provide crucial academic support under the supervision of subject teachers, facilitating learning and personal development in older students.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support classroom activities and help manage student behavior.
* Provide targeted assistance to students during lessons.
* Assist with the preparation of learning materials and the setting up of equipment.
* Help students understand lesson content and complete assignments.
Requirements:
* A university degree, preferably in a subject taught at secondary level.
* Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with teenagers.
* Proactive and eager to contribute to student learning.
* Ability to work well under the guidance of a lead teacher.
