2D CAD Engineer / Estimator
Full-Time | Permanent | £30,000 per annum
We are currently seeking a 2D CAD Engineer / Estimator to join a busy and expanding office-based engineering team. This is a full-time, permanent position offering an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced and growing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
Producing profile drawings using 2D AutoCAD (or similar software)
Working accurately to instruction while meeting deadlines
Supporting estimation and related office-based engineering tasks
Remaining flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
Skills & Experience
Proven ability to read engineering drawings
Experience producing 2D profile drawings using AutoCAD or equivalent
Engineering background preferred
Experience with Lantek software is advantageous but not essential
Ability to recognise material types such as S275, S355, CR4, 304, 316, etc.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure

Working Hours
Monday – Thursday: 8:00am – 5:00pm
Friday: 8:00am – 4:30pm
Lunch: 1 hour per day
Total: 39.5 hours per week
