The Opportunity
We’re looking for an experienced Energy Infrastructure Engineer with an interest in Grid Connection particularly offshore transmission and/or HVDC projects. You will join our collaborative and multidisciplinary Substation Engineering Team, which includes specialists in primary and secondary electrical design, protection and control, and digital modelling (CAD/BIM).

Key Responsibilities
* Lead and contribute to grid connection projects, including offshore transmission, HVDC interconnector, and onshore battery/wind
* Develop technical reports, due diligence, and connection agreements
* Produce and review 3D models and drawings using AutoCAD and/or Revit
* Collaborate with colleagues across disciplines to deliver integrated and efficient design solutions
* Support the development of more junior engineers and technicians within the team
* Attend site visits and client meetings in the UK or occasionally in Europe
* Engage with clients and suppliers to resolve technical queries and ensure quality delivery
What We’re Looking For

* Experience working on high-voltage (HV) substation or energy infrastructure projects
* Strong skills in report writing and providing advice to clients
* Understanding of UK industry standards for substation design
* A collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently when needed
* A qualification in electrical or mechanical engineering (degree, HND, or equivalent experience)
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
