ESOL Summer School Teacher
Brockenhurst College has an exciting opportunity for a ESOL Summer School Teacher to join their dedicated and enthusiastic team on a part-time, fixed-term basis. In return, you will receive a competitive salary of £25.05 or £30.07 per hour.

As our ESOL Summer School Teacher you will:
2. Teach on courses as agreed with the Head of Curriculum
3. Prepare and mark student work, monitor progress towards individual targets, keep records and provide timely reports/reviews to students, parents, employers and College managers, as appropriate.
4. Work closely with other colleagues to respond to the needs of students.
5. Pay due attention to the principles of inclusive learning including:
6. support for students with learning difficulties and disabilities;
7. extension resources/activities for students of higher ability;
8. general resources, including the use of Information Learning Technology.
9. Contribute to the design, delivery, planning and development of the curriculum.
10. Contribute to the teaching/learning resource bank for the relevant subject/course.
11. Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of developments in the relevant subject/course.
12. Participate in relevant field trips and activities.
The ideal ESOL Summer School Teacher will need:
13. Subject specialist qualification CELTA or equivalent; Cambridge Delta or Trinity in English Language teaching as examples.
14. Essential for some of the course/ roles: Degree in relevant subject area; General teaching qualification (DTLLS/ PGCE)
15. Knowledge and understanding of current developments in the relevant curriculum area
16. Empathy with and strong commitment to meeting the needs of individual students
17. Commitment to the mission and values of the College
